Pontoon Survey

Job was getting a pontoon in place under the bridge but before we could do that we had to survey the river bed monitor the current flow and the rise and fall of the water depth itself.
To do this we had 3 men, 2 in the water wading across the river together 1 behind the other and a technician on the river bank which had a line attached to the technician at the back and he kept hold of the front man.
We slowly moved across the river taking note of depth changes, big rocks and any trees, logs or other debris that had been trapped under the bridge we removed what we could by hand then used mechanical aids to remove the rest to assure we had clear way for the pontoon and safe as possible platform for the client to work from
